Aqua-Check Kit, 20 gram capacity

The Aqua-Check is a portable system used for measuring the moisture content of a wide range of materials including sand, aggregates and soil. Its operation is identical to the "Speedy" tester, and meets the same ASTM and AASHTO requirements for determining moisture content by the calcium carbide pressure method.

Its pressure vessel is die-cast aluminum with a tough wear-resistant coating. Its integral pressure gauge reads the direct percentage moisture content of the sample from 0 - 20% in a matter of minutes.

The Aqua-Check kit includes a 20 gram pressure vessel, electronic digital balance, two 1.250" steel balls for pulverizing samples, reagent measuring scoop, brush and instructions in a heavy-duty waterproof carrying case.

Note: Reagent "calcium carbide" is sold and shipped separately as a 10 pound can only.
