Compression Machine Spacers
Spacers are used with test platens to adjust the vertical clearance height inside a machines load frame for testing specimens of various types and sizes. Spacers are machined plane on both ends to maintain a parallel alignment between the platen and test specimen. Spacers for high capacity machines are mounted to the machines upper crosshead by the draw rod method. Spacers for low capacity machines sit on the machines lower crosshead with a bearing plate. All spacers are painted for corrosion resistance.
