Compression Machine Draw Rod Assembly

Test platen accessories are held securely against the top crosshead by a threaded draw rod system that passes through the top crosshead. The draw rod passes through spacers and is used to adjust the vertical daylight opening of the load frame. The rod is adjusted up and down by a hand wheel on the top of the machine.
