Masonry Platens

• Models available for testing up to 12” (305 mm) CMUs.

All models feature large diameter spherical disk and seat assemblies, and platen bearing surface plane to .001” (.025 mm) in any 6” (152 mm) direction, through hardened to HRC 60 and plated for wear and corrosion resistance. The bearing block is held securely in it seat assembly by a series of heavy duty springs and safety links which allow it to rotate freely and seat under load.

The MA-0107-P1 is used on up to 12" CMU, the platen is 16.125" long, 12.125" wide, and 3.75" thick. It uses a male disk with a 11.67" diameter. This meets ASTM C-1716, C-140, and C-1314.

The MA-0107-P is used with up to 12" CMU that are couponed.

The MA-0106 and MA-0106-3 is used with units up to 8” (203 mm) wide, and is supplied with a bottom bearing block.

The MA-0106, MA-0106-3, MA-0107-P do not meet ASTM C-1716 specification.
