Ottawa Density Sand
Meets ASTM D-1556 and AASHTO T-191 specifications.
Density Sand is used with the sand density apparatus to determine the bulk density of soil. Density sand has few, if any, particles passing the No. 200 (75 mm) or retained on the No. 10 (2.00 mm) sieves. Sand is packaged in heavy-duty bags to prevent breakage.
