Soils Pocket Penetrometer

The Soil Pocket Penetrometer verifies side walls of excavations for shoring requirements, based on OSHA cohesive soils classifications. Direct reading scale in tons per square feet or kilograms per square centimeter corresponds to equivalent unconfined compression strength. Range: 0 to 4.5 tons. This should not replace lab testing or field analysis, or be used as design data for foundations.
