Static Segregation Column Mold
The Static Segregation Column Mold is used to measure cohesiveness of SCC. Concrete is placed in the column and allowed to stand undisturbed. After 15 minutes, the top and bottom sections are evaluated for the amount of aggregate retained on a No. 4 (4.75 mm) sieve and segregation is calculated.
Mold is constructed of 8" (200 mm) diameter PVC schedule 40 pipe, with a 15" (381 mm) square base plate and 8.5" (216 mm) wide stainless steel collection plates.
